Our Founder

Gold Standard was founded by Kale Van Bruggen, a former National Team rower. After moving on from the sport, Kale made it his goal to support the Canadian National Rowing Team by exclusively hiring rowers. He started a junk removal company to serve the Victoria and Duncan, BC locations and hires athletes to support their dreams.

Our Junk Pick-Up and Delivery Team

Our employees range from development athletes to Olympic medalists, and each hauling and delivery job goes to supporting their aspirations of representing Canada on the world stage.
