Gold Standard Hauling & Services was established in 2018 with the goal of providing fast, friendly and affordable junk pickup and local and long-distance delivery service. We are a locally operated, fully insured, and customer oriented company. At Gold Standard, we are committed to ensuring that each and every job is completed to the highest degree of satisfaction. We started with junk removal in Victoria, then Duncan, BC, and now service the entire lower Vancouver Island region with a variety of services! Our professional team is available seven days a week to tackle any residential or commercial job you may need completed.

Our Founder

Gold Standard was founded by Kale Van Bruggen, a former National Team rower. After moving on from the sport, Kale made it his goal to support the Canadian National Rowing Team by exclusively hiring rowers. Our employees range from development athletes to Olympic medalists, and each job goes to supporting their aspirations of representing Canada on the world stage.
